Watts Series AS-B Air Separator

The AS-B Bronze Air Separators are mainly used in commercial and residential hydronic heating systems. They are uses to separate the air from the water in the piping system. The air separator is made up of a bronze body construction that has tapings fro a boiler fill expansion tank. It also has a ? inch FV4-M1 float vent and a ? inch brass pipe plug fabricated inside the air separator. The Series AS-B comes standard with a ? float vent but it also is available in a threaded connection which is series AS-B-T and it also comes in a sweat connection which is series AS-B-S.

The Series AS-B is all bronze and is great for radiant heating. The air separator has a one of a kind design created to separate even the smallest air bubbles from getting into the system. This series even has tapings that are used in the installation for an expansion tank, air vent and for a boiler fill pipe. Installed into the separator is a ?" FV-4M1 Air Vent.

Some of the other features that the Air Separator has is they are bronze construction, they come in these following sizes ? inch, 1 inch, 1-? inch or 20,25 or 32 mm. they come in NPT threaded or sweat. The Series AS-B does give the system an on going purging and venting of the air found in the system when you add the float vent. It is a horizontal mount only. The maximum pressure is 125 psi.
