Pool Vacuum Line Plumbing Attachment

Swimming in your personal pool can be a lot of fun but also brings the need of maintaining an investment. You want it to remain clean and last for seasons to come. With this in mind you need to turn your view towards the pool vacuum line. Plumbing issues can appear and there is a need that your pool remains clean and in operating conditions. You have to know the basics in order to at least realize when a problem appears. With some research and training you can even fix them but this is not the subject at hand.

Nowadays any swimming pool has a vacuum line installed as a standard plumbing fixture. You can even install a separate vacuum line in order to avoid the possible problem of your vacuum line running into your skimmer. This basically means stopping your skimmer from looking and working unsightly.

If there is no pool vacuum line, plumbing issues get simplified and complicated at the same time. The whole installation is easier to maintain and problems are more visible but we all know a swimming pool needs to be clean. We are not talking about the water inside. We are talking about the actual plumbing installation. The good news is you can easily build an artificial pool vacuum line that can provide efficient cleaning.

You need a vacuum pool hose, a pool pole and vacuum head attachments. First start off by removing any large debris that might be present. If it could get stuck in your suction line then it must be removed prior to the actual vacuuming. After this is done you have to attach the vacuum head to the end of the pole. The vacuum adapter must be placed into the water/skimmer outlet with a leaf bag attachment. Connect the pool vacuum hose to the top of the vacuum head and put it in the water. Now fill the vacuum hose with water by holding it in front of the return valve till there is no more air bubbling coming out. Attach the hose to the skimmer basket attachment and start moving the newly designed pool vacuum line along the bottom parts of the entire pool. When all is finished just disconnect the hose from the skimmer attachment and store everything used for the next time.

Pool vacuum lines are a very important part of the plumbing system but, as you can see, the lack can be substituted by any individual with a will to do so. You can thus save money on a simple maintenance task that anyone can perform with ease.
