A type of piping that quickly becomes the most popular around is PVC plumber piping. PVC actually means polyvinyl chloride and it is perfect for use in carrying water, irrigation, as a conduit and for drain waste vent systems. They are available in various sizes from half an inch to 2 inches and usually is white.

One may also find CPVC pipes. CPVC means chlorinated polyvinyl chloride. It is used for hot and cold water supply and even chemical distribution systems. It is perfect for temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit and work well in both non pressure and pressure systems. When gluing such pipes you will require special solvent cement. ABS pipes (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is made out of thermoplastic resin. It is very light and easier to use when compared to most metal pipes available. Other plumbers piping and tubing that is not that widely used comes with galvanized pipes, black iron pipes, we have traps, tub drains and pop-up drains.
